How I Work as Your Travel Advisor
I offer two types of advisory services depending on what kind of support you need.
As a Travel Agent, I research your trip and handle bookings for hotels, tours, and transfers on your behalf. I earn a commission from those bookings at no additional cost to you. I want to be upfront about that because the right trip always comes first. My job is to find you the best options, not the most expensive ones. Please note that I do not book flights, but I will help you understand your options and set up price tracking through Google Flights so you can book with confidence.
As a Travel Planner, I do the research and deliver a clear, organized summary of recommendations. You do the booking yourself. There are no commissions involved. You pay a flat research fee and you get my full expertise in return.

Founding Client Rates
I’m currently offering travel planning services at a reduced rate while I build my first set of client testimonials. This reflects where I am in growing my advisory business, not the quality of the work. I bring 30 years of personal travel experience and deep destination knowledge to every project.
Once I reach 10 completed client projects, rates will increase. Your locked-in rate stays for the full project.
Travel Research Service — $250

This is the right service if you:
- Know where you want to go but don’t know how to start researching
- Feel overwhelmed by too many options for flights, hotels, and attractions
- Want expert recommendations without paying for a full travel agent
What’s Included
For a single trip to up to 3 cities, the $250 research fee covers:
Flights:
- Research and comparison of flight options for your travel dates and route
- Notes on the best booking windows, fare class recommendations, and which airlines serve your route
- Guidance on how to set up Google Flights price alerts so you can monitor and book when the price is right
Hotels:
- Neighborhood recommendations based on your travel style and what you want to be close to
- A shortlist of hotel options at your budget level with notes on why each one is a good fit
- Notes on what to look for and what to avoid for your specific destination
Attractions:
- The must-see sites and UNESCO World Heritage Sites for your destination
- Which attractions require advance booking, how far ahead, and where to book
- Practical notes on hours, costs, and what to expect on arrival
Delivery:
- Everything organized into a clear written summary delivered within two weeks of your booking
- One round of follow-up questions by email within one week of delivery
What’s Not Included
To be completely transparent about what this service covers:
- I do not book flights, hotels, tours, or any reservations on your behalf. You receive research and recommendations, and you do the booking yourself.
- This service does not include a day-by-day itinerary.
- This service covers up to three cities. Additional cities can be added for $75 each.
- Ongoing email access beyond the one follow-up round is not included.
